On July 14th, 1789 the Bastille fortress was stormed during the French Revolution. Marquis de Lafayette gave the key to the Bastille to George Washington in 1790. This key is a dead-on replica of that key which is now on display in the museum at Mount Vernon. Make your own in time for Bastille Day. It's tomorrow so get going!
