This original design is exactly what I needed. As printed in PLA and scaled at 50%, the legs would only be a couple lines thick, which would be too weak. I wanted thicker legs on the male piece to provide adequate spring tension and durability.

Needs supports and likely some cleanup depending on how smoothly your printer lays down filament on top of the support. Suggest using a high support density. I printed at 15% and that was too low for this small piece.
