I love keystone jacks. As a concept. The modularity, the flexibility, they just really speak to me. So I've been trying to think of new uses for extra blank keystone jacks. Then it came to me – why not pop some LEDs in? This keystone jack can hold four 5mm standard size LEDs, and you can wire them up on the back end any way you like. For convenience, I included a recess on the back that you could use for tying either the anodes or cathodes together to a single wire, and then control them via the other end (with appropriate resistors). Wanna power them through a Raspberry Pi or ESP32 or Meshtastic device? Why not?! Use them as indicator lights for case fans or your doorbell or a motion sensor above your front door? Go for it! Eager to hear what y'all do with it. :)
