KH930 blanking plate

It is possible to operate the Brother KH930 or kh940 knitting machine on 12V power with very simple modifications. For safety reasons the old mains plug should be removed. This file is a blanking plate to fill the hole. by adding a cylinder negative part in your slicer you can choose the size of the hole you want for a barrel jack or any plug you desire. There is also a second file with a hole for a common 5.5x2.1 panel mount barrel jack. This might also be useful for the AYAB community.

tolerances are very low and ample spacing is provided to ensure the part will always fit.

Wiring is very simple on the kh940. Refer to the pictures. Remove the transformer, AC12V wires and the yellow wire. connect the positive wire from the power supply to AC INPUT BR. Connect the negative wire to the left AC12V. connect the yellow wire between JW201 next to the switch pads and the right AC12V pad.
