King Dedede - Super Model Pose

Jigglypuff knows lullaby, King Dedede has "other" methods of enticing his opponents to bed in Super Smash Bros.


I've always thought King Dedede's down pose in Super Smash Bros was pretty funny. I'm working on another big Smash Bros project and I made this little side project as an inside joke between my brother and I. To make it, I converted a picture of the pose to a sketch in Solidworks and made a sort of topographic map with varying extrusion heights from it. I then tossed in a speech bubble with some bold Comic Sans sketch text and voila--a fun Valentines gift and cure to your loneliness all in one.

I literally just cut this out of the larger model I'm building, so basically no thought went into the shape of the stand. I just wanted to make sure it would print okay at a 60 degree angle without support, and it did.
