***UPDATE*** - Sept. 14th, 2025 - Uploaded Version 3 as version 2 worked, but the shelf was still too thin so starts to sag over time. Version 3 has a thicker shelf area that is 1cm thicker than the old one to make it sturdier.
Want to make some more space in your kitchen cabinets, but still want all your cups/mugs easily accessible at once?
Enter the mug shelf! 3D-modeled this in TinkerCad and printed it to fit in my kitchen cabinets to house my two sets of matching mugs. Roughly fits 3 mugs on top and 3 underneath - the top has thickened areas underneath to help to keep the shelf from bending between the spaces mugs would sit on.
Printed on a Malyan MA-10 (Creality CR-10 clone) out of PLA with a build plate temp of 55C and a nozzle temp of 205C. Resolution was 0.15mm. Infill was set to 8 with the Grid infill pattern, sliced in Cura. Print upside down, then no supports are needed.
You can up the Infill if you want it to be a little sturdier. For me, it was fine at 8 as I wanted to
