Holds brushes/ handled sponges in the large compartment and normal rectangular sponges in the small compartment. The insides of both compartments are sloped to allow for water/soap to drain back into the sink. The small compartment drains into the large compartment. Allows for dish cleaning tools to dry without making a mess and to keep the sink cleared. Make sure the front edge where the slot for drainage is situated so any water will run into the sink.
