Kity 612 Bandsaw Trunnion Casting Pattern

This is a pattern to 3D print in order to cast a new trunnion for a Kity 612 Bandsaw tilting table.
The original trunnions have a fatal flaw of no support behind the clamping screw that holds it to the frame, as such the metal simply fold in and begins to crack the original part.
This model is a direct copy of the original part with amendments made to enable it to be cast in sand rather than die cast as the original was.
Being a cast part it will require some filing to get the perfect fit along the arced running surface and the holes will need to be drilled for the mounting bolt slots.
I designed this in 2021 and the parts I cast have been running strong since, though I had imagined they'd be better in brass I never got around to recasting them.
Draft angles and relief cuts have been made and the part has been scaled by approximately 6% larger than original to take into account the shrinkage factor of molten aluminium. You could alternative have this 3d printed in metal however t
