I was out kneeboarding one day on the water and all of a sudden, one of the footman loops that holds the strap down fell out and got lost in the water. Although I was bummed and surprised that the screws were able to work themselves out, I knew I could fix it. For a new set of these specific footman loops is roughly $10-15 online. I still had the other loop, so I decided to 3D model it. Few may have a use for it, but now you can 3D your own footman loops in case you happen to end up in the situation I was in. One of the photos shows how similar the 3D model is to the injection molded one, so it is almost like the mishap never happened. I would use PETG for the print because it has good water resistance and it can withstand heat well. Many kneeboards use the same footman loops. For example, my small brand board uses the same one as some of the O'Brien kneeboards. O'Brien's part number for their loops is 2073051. I have also seen other companies with the same ones.
