My first sharpening tool was quite a success. The most viewed and downloaded by far.
I use it very often, but there are some little downsides, that I have fixed by now.

Old Version: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4078641

The new stand and railing system uses two 500mm steel rods with 8mm in diameter and simple 8mm linear bearings. some m3 nuts and screws are needed to and some 8mm aluminum rod. You can use the steel one too, but aluminum is easyer to cut and lighter. So I go with it.

I have not made a change to the knife mount but I will upload the files from the old one, so you dont have to download both things.

Now I tested it with four knifes and can recommend using it.

Enjoy!

Update: A good friend of mine came over for sharpening her knife. And I just let her do this herself for testing, if she could get it sharp without experience. She did a really good job and took a fine sharp knife home. I am quite happy. Let me know what you think.
