Kobalt Mini Toolbox Lid Bumper

This thin bumper keeps the lid of a Kobalt Mini Toolbox from clanging shut, metal on metal. The u-shaped channel press-fits over the front rim of the lid compartment, providing a softer closing surface and leveling out the lid top. Two profiles – one TPU, one PLA – are calibrated for a nice even lid gap all the way around (either profile would probably work for either material, but if you like things nice-and-precise you have that choice). A couple of things to note:Some filament colors might get discolored by the lid over time. A quick and low-material reprint if you ever need a new one!TPU may sometimes “grab” the lid a bit when opened. Either some baby powder on the bottom edge of the lid or a few small* dots of hot glue in the u-channel should solve that.* No, smaller than that. Smaller. Like, teeny tiny.
