first off thanks to @bedridden_5744518 for his ACE pro high efficiency roller designs found here https://www.makeronline.com/en/model/ACE%20Pro%20High%20Efficiency%20Back%20Pulley/167633.html?fbclid=IwZXh0bgNhZW0CMTEAAR6tTMIIfTGQHQHVsmWUW6uRAgATjxlJqf2qZighri0XBrIDpedZDUCoupY8fw_aem_t6eGClkc8h_VIaHeysQ0MA, his design was for the ACE pro for an S1, I have a early Kobra 3 with early ACE pro. I printed the rollers in PETG and found they have some play left to right when installed, although they are the same length as the original rollers. But the original rollers have the lip on the edges. When I installed the first roller I printed, I found that since the design did not have the lip and the roller had gaps on the sides, that the filament spool can come off the roller on one side if the roller shifted to the other side. To remedy this I designed a simple shim that I added to one end of the roller pin to fill up more of the gap and prevent the roller from shifting. It also helps keep the bearing in on one side. I found that one side of the roller, the bearing fits loose, and the shim helps keep it in place since the shim fits tight on the roller pin. The shim fits tight on the roller pin, you may need to use some force to slide it on. I placed it on the side of the roller that the filament spool rides closer too. Hopes this helps.
