Kobra S1 Side Spool Holder

The rear mounted spool holder can be difficult in some situations. I designed this spool holder which allows you to mount the filament spool on the side of the Kobra S1, instead of the back. It utilizes the original spool holder that comes with the printer. Hardware needed Qty 2 - M3 X 20mm Bolts (washers optional) - For mounting to the back of the printer Qty 2 - M3 X 12mm Bolts with M3 nuts - For mounting the metal spool holder to the printed frame. Instructions are simple. Attach the metal spool holder to the printed frame with the M3 X 12mm Bolts. There are pockets on the backside to insert the nuts. Turn the printer around to access the rear panel. Remove the second and third bolts from the left side that attach the back panel to the printer. Line up the spool holder to the holes and use the M3 X 20mm bolts to attach the holder to the printer utilizing those two holes. Place your spool on and feed the filament through the feed hole (There is an arrow pointing to the hole. Makes it easier to find it). Then just feed the filament into the printers PTFE tube. Note: I do not have the ACE unit for my machine so I do not know if this will work with that setup. This was designed for the stand alone printer. Let me know if it works with the ACE unit attached.
