Kossel Glass Bed Support

Glass Bed support for Kossel Mini. Currently tuned for a 170mm bed, but adjusting the bd variable in the scad file should allow for larger sizes (looked ok when I tried 240).

This is just the glass support; you would attach this with a 25mm M3 screw and spring to something like http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1102612 which is what I use, but I'm going to make I made something more low profile with 2 clamps to the openbeam so it can't rotate accidentally. The folgertech mount linked above is rather thick and uses up all the adjustability.

You may need to ream out the mount hole a bit; you want the screw to be able to slide in the mount so the threads don't grab and push down the mount. Also it will allow some breathing room in the event of a crash or warping parts.

I use these on a heated bed; the kapton heater leaves about 5mm around the edge for the bed to sit on these mounts. Have not tried printing ABS on this printer yet, so not sure how they will react to higher bed temp
