DescriptionThis compact 3D printed shaker is designed for simple lab or DIY applications where gentle oscillation or mixing is required. The platform is supported by four 3D printed compression springs positioned at each corner to give a orbital motion. The motion is powered by a low-RPM TT gear motor (from Maker's Supply), making it ideal for applications that need controlled and slower agitation. However, the motor can easily be swapped with a high-RPM TT motor for more vigorous shaking if required.The shaker uses two 6003 ball bearings integrated into the rotating mechanism for smoother motion. The design is easy to assemble and 3D-printable using standard PLA material. PrintAll the parts of this model are printed in PLA. PETG could be used but not required. The springs are printed in PLA but removing the support may require a little patience but nothing terrible.
