LAB808 Computer 3D Fan Grills

Inspired by geometric “chunky” designs common in science fiction, also known as NASA-aesthetic. I call my designs “3D” because that's what differentiates them from the standard laser cut or bent wire grills. 10mm thick with the strakes spaced 5mm from the fan, to reduce interference noise and improve efficiency. The strakes are also rounded on the fan side, and the frame is chamfered to reduce resistance. Holes are 5mm and either 4mm or standard fan self-tapping screws will work.
