My new Anycubic I3 Mega came with a pretty good spool holder, but the printer itself barely fits on top of my lack tables, let alone with a spool next to it. I spent a while searching for a spool holder that would fit my exact model of wire shelving (they're all different dimensions, different wire diameters, etc) before I stumbled across SteelCityElectronics' solder spool holder and decided to alter the design for my own needs.
There's a stack of bearings burning a hole in my parts drawer, so I tried to integrate them into this design:
The TOP stl has a hole in the top of the table bracket, and includes a peg to fit into it and carry a 608 (skateboard/rollerblade/fidget spinner) bearing. The SIDES stl has a hole through the base of the spindle, and includes 2 pegs for 2 bearings. I haven't actually tried this method. The unlabelled stl includes both holes and prints all 3 pegs. The BASIC stl doesn't have any.
If you have a bearing handy, I recommend TOP. The spool might ride
