Shortly after getting a 3d printer, I decided I wanted an enclosure for it for a variety of reasons. Sound suppression, air cleaning, temperature control, and keeping little hands and flying toys from accidentally hitting it. I looked at a lot of peoples designs for the lack enclosure. After a bit of trial and error, I decided to customize the parts for what was available to me locally. I purchased some thin 1/8" clear plastic for the sides, one of their dimensions came in 18", so that was my target for desk to bottom of lack table height.
