Ladybug House

This house for insects is composed of three parts, the main container (casetta.stl), a door (porta.stl), and the little rooms for the bugs (stanzine.stl). I printed this model with wooden pla and you may notice that there is a space between the container and the door, which serves to insert a transparent sheet of plastic so that you can observe the bugs without a direct contact. The sheet can slide to access inside the container.I also applied wooden sticks to the external parts of the house to make it more insulated and natural-looking. For the hinge, I used parts of a syringe which is made of stronger plastic than PLA. I avoided using metal rods or other metal parts as they overheat during summer and soften PLA. In the lower part of the container you can add sticks, tree bark and dried leaves, ladybugs love them.Supports are needed only for the door piece (porta.stl)
