Lamp Canopy for Ceiling Mount

I bought some IKEA DYKARKLOCKA lamps, but for my ceiling height (2.6 m) they either get too low, or the supporting cable becomes too small and unpleasant to look at, so, I've decided to adapt them to mount directly on the ceiling. I reckon this method can be used with a lot of other lamps. Materials needed: Ceiling bracket (you probably already have it installed anyway) M10 threaded rod (you also probably already have it installed) 2 x M10 hex nut (probably also already available from the previous installation) E27 lamp holder for threaded rod (M10) (these cost about €1)
