A lamp shade I designed because I wanted a lamp shade where I can build in a small arduino and an ultrasonic sensor. My plan is that you should be able to turn the lamp on and off by moving your hand under it.
It is designed to be used with E27 sockets. The hole is 40 mm diameter.
Print with 2 mm bottom and with "Spiralize the outer contour" ON and "Solid infill top" OFF in Cura. You find them under Expert -> Open expert settings...
Print with a shell thickness that equals your nozzle size. For the shade in the images I did not do that. I printed with a shell thickness of 1 mm. And that is probably the reason for the stripes you see along the lamp shade. However, I found the stripes quite decorative. So I kept it with the stripes on. :-)
It is approx 14x14x14 cm. I printed it on a LulzBot Mini.
You can download the model in a lot of different formats for editing here: http://a360.co/1TXt2OO
