This is the Bambu Lamps LED Spool. Made from a Bambu Labs reusable spool, this lamp can be illuminated with a smart RGB LED strip and connected to your home automation system to be remotely controlled. It makes a very nice looking desk lamp or conversation piece within your office or shop.   Please note that the Bambu Labs spools come in both translucent frosted plastic (preferred) or solid white. From what I can tell there is no guarantee that you will receive one or the other when ordering specific Bambu Labs materials. Either one will work but the frosted one allows light to also shine through the spool which looks nice.   You will need the following items to complete this assembly. As an Amazon associate I may earn a small commission (at no extra cost to you):   3D printed files: ► YOU ARE HERE   LED Strip - the exact one I used in the video is no longer available but this is almost exact substitute: ► https://amzn.to/48HHbZ9   Thread forming screws: ► https://amzn.to/3RRCKEr   3M Double sided tape: ► https://amzn.to/3TVDGdH     I would suggest printing all of the covers (front and rear), plus the LED filament diffuser in white material so light can easily pass through. The stand, screw and the color accent parts can be made in any color of your liking. I chose white and grey as they match the Bambu Labs color scheme nicely.   PLA materials works perfectly fine and the typical 3 walls, 3 floors and ceiling layers is fine at 0.2mm layer height. Only the stand will need support material in a few locations. The LED diffuser file can be printed in normal mode - or optionally should be able to print in spiral vase mode. It is only one wall layer anyways so the result is almost identical but spiral vase mode will result in no Z seam.
