Hole diameter for sliding the lamp shade over the lamp connector thingie is 42,2mm. Scale accordingly. For instance: If yours is 30mm, do 30/42,2 which is 0,71 (71% scale) and add just a little bit, so it can slide over the connector. It's meant to fit with a lamp that at it's widest is 60mm in diameter, so if you make it too small, it won't work. For reference, the lampshade at it's widest is 130mm in diameter.
