Lampshade (Spare Part)

The glass lampshade of one of our floor lamps broke and I needed a spare part.
So I designed it with freecad, imported it into Blender to make the form more organic and the check the look by rendering it.
The first print (white Filament) was a fail and I saw that the walls where to thick. I then printes a new one just with spiralised outlines: That came out great and is transparent enough to let the light through.

The base of the lamp is 75 mm wide, the hole for the lamp socket has a diameter of 40 mm. The shade is about 130 mm high.

Caution: Use only with led or energy-saving lamps. PLA for example might get hot and become soft, it can deform and may touch the lamp an start to burn ...
