I recently replaced all the screens in my Lanai or sometimes called porch or patio. I found some steel clips online that allowed me to position the screen and hold it in place as I went around all the sides . The steel clips were great but sometimes they would spring off and shoot across the yard. I decided to try and create my own.
You hold the screen against the aluminum extrusion and push the clips into the channel. I found that these held everything in place and then it was easy to run the spline around the perimeter. I added a loop at the end if you want to be able to run a string through also helps to have some where to grab when removing the clips.
