I didn't feel like paying a lot of money for the sold-seperately metal base for my lansky sharpening set, so I designed one instead. I also wanted to design a box for my Lansky knife sharpener set that had space for additional hones that otherwise would not fit in the included box, as well as the baseplate. I used the SnapLock Parametric box design and added dividers to securely hold the sharpening hones, along with the hone oil, a bar of stropping compound, the rods, and my baseplate design. After a lot of time measuring and doing CAD-tetris to get everything to fit on an A1 mini print bed, this is what I came up with. The box can hold up to 9 hones in total, or 8 hones plus the hone oil and baseplate arm. You may be able to fit 9 hones plus the extras, but I only own 7 so I was not able to test this.I recommend 0.2mm layer height, 15% CrossHatch infill, and a well-calibrated filament profile, as the box will take up the entire print bed of an A1 mini. I would also recommend using
