Laptop Battery Mount

Just moved and we're organizing our home. Using my laptop while we try to sort out all the computers. But it's at such an awkward angle that the battery keeps falling off my desk. I thought, If I just had something to hold it to the side of my desk, the cord wouldn't be in such a hazardous spot. But it would have to be temporary, because one: We're moving again in a few years, and two once the computer is set up I won't likely be using my laptop as much. This is what I've come up with. Unfortunately the printer is tied up in other projects, but I'll update on how it goes as soon as I can.
