At the time, I only needed a place for my two tablets, but with Safari turning into the new Internet Explorer, I had to add an Apple test device to the mix. And, of course, my original stand was only designed for two devices. On top of that, my wife needed a stand for her notebook, and let’s just say she wasn’t impressed with my quick solution. That meant one thing: time to do it properly. The challenge? Getting the "wife approval factor" just right. She’s not always thrilled with my creations and has a sharp eye for design, but she does like our remote-control holders and trays. They feature some nice accent colors and don’t look like cheap plastic.
