I've had a large Swissgear backpack that's held up really well for several years -- except the handle to carry it. The handle started splitting some months ago and progressed. It started pinching my hand and became less comfortable to grab. Finally I cut it off. This was a quick design I put together to replace it. I printed it in ASA so that it could likely stand up to a warm car, something that PLA can't do. As far as assembly, I sprayed one half of the handle with CA glue activator and ran a bead of CA glue on the other half. It came together very well.ASA flexes less than the original handle, but I've found that it's actually made it MORE easy to carry than the original handle. Enjoy!
