Wanted a bigger mountable birdfeeder for the Stellar Jays around my home so I designed this one. I added a slit in the bottom and made it slightly concave so that water will drain out when it rains. It works very well and the drain is small enough that none of the birdseed falls through it.

I have this mounted to the outside of my porch railing just outside my livingroom window so that I can watch the birds fight over their kibble.
