Large Thread or Floss Bobbin - 350yds

This is a large floss or thread bobbin. I made it to store 350yds of size 10 crochet thread I use for bookbinding into a more compact storage than the 4x4" roll it came on. I was able to fit the whole brand new roll on 1 card and it is about 20mm thick. I did have to hand wind it which did take a while. I tried to use the DMC floss winder (it does fit it) but it just did not work well. Then I tried an adapter for my bobbin winder machine and that went too fast and ripped it off. So unfortunately you probably will have to hand wind the whole roll (this took me a few hours due to wanting to make it as compact as possible) but I think it was worth it since now I can store it a drawer and this roll should last me the rest of my life.
