Laser cut Center-finding Ruler

I saw somthing like this many years ago, and always wanted one.
It's a ruler that allows you to easily find the midway point between two points.

To use it, simply measure with the top scale, and without moving it, mark the same numerical place on the bottom scale.

Inkscape file is provided. I cut this one on a Chinese 60 Watt K40 machine.
The logo on the picture is because I made this one for a relative.
