A replica of a shuttle to be used when weaving yarn into a loom, designed to be cut using a laser cutter. I suppose you could also extrude the paths and 3D print it. Used as part of an interdisciplinary community college Sociology + Making course called "Making Social Change." See https://www.flcinnovation.org/wordpress/tag/making-social-change/
On our Universal Laser, we set the stroke to "hairline" (if using CorelDraw or Inkscape) or ".001" in Illustrator (Illustrator doesn't have "hairline" as a stroke choice), and the color of the stroke to RGB 255, 0, 0. I cut the one above out of 1/4 birch plywood, and after a little sanding and filing, it should be a pretty useful shuttle for our community loom.
