Laser Doppler Flowmetry (LDF) Probe Holder

SUPER simple model that showcases what 3D printing is all about! If you need these probe holders, this file is a game changer. Why is this model important? To purchase, we were paying $200 for a pack of 5, and these are single-use items. With the Bambu, I can print 50 for $0.05. Made on a Bambu X1 Carbon with 0.4 nozzle, this Laser Doppler Flow probe holder has a 1.25 mm center hole for mounting specialty laser equipment. This is used to measure blood flow; our system is designed for minimally invasive blood flow detection in mice and rats for stroke, cancer, and related research. Models include 1.25mm round or hexagonal mounting hole. Honestly, it's amazing that the 0.4 nozzle makes these so well and so quickly. I was unable to get even close to this using other brand printers. Best resolution is obtained with Bambu Lab's WHITE PLA. I evaluated several colors of PLA, and white is the best option for the 1.25 mm center hole.
