Laser mirror calibration

Step 1: Safety Precautions

Ensure the laser is turned off and the key is removed before beginning any work on the machine.
Wear appropriate safety gear, including laser safety glasses.

Step 2: Access the Mirrors

Open the laser machine to access the mirrors. Typically, there are three mirrors: the first is near the laser tube, the second is at the bending point, and the third is on the laser head.

Step 3: Clean the Mirrors

Carefully clean the mirrors with a proper cleaning solution and a non-abrasive cloth designed for optical surfaces.

Step 4: Align the First Mirror

Place a piece of thermal paper or adhesive tape at the target area on the first mirror.
Fire a test pulse at the lowest power setting to mark the paper or tape.
Adjust the screws on the side of the laser tube until the beam hits the center of the mirror.
Repeat the test pulse and adjust until the beam consistently hits the center.
