Fume extractor for soldering work

made with the laser cutter from 3mm birch plywood. Note that many wood thicknesses are not exactly 3mm thick and the dimensions may need to be altered.
These plans are for exactly 3mm thick plywood.

The dimensions are for a 120mm fan.

There are some alternative ventilation grilles in the file but be careful, depending on the ventilation speed they can be noisy.

The back panel is locked in place with spring loaded pins (see pictures for details).

In addition to the fan, a speed controller, an activated carbon sponge and a mains plug are also required.
