With SolidWorks, I created this model with the tools line, smart dimension, centerline, circle, and boss extrude. The material required was AISI 1020 which I made this model as. Understanding the blueprint of this practice part was simple as it contained a distinct part of the model which would be the main sketch to be extruded. This model also was easy to extrude as it only required one step. Remember, taking a few seconds to understand the blueprint is better than diving right in.
