I made this to speed up a door knob installation large project. Didn't see another jig that solve my 3 big challenges: 1) Router template for cutting out the latch plate mortises, 2) locating the horizontal AND verticle location and 3) setting my router bit depth on a non-plunge router base. I am very happy with how this turned out for me. No supports needed. Designed around a ½ inch bearing and ½ inch router bit cutting diameter. This creates perfect ¼" rounded corners. PLEASE READ THE NOTES BELOW FOR A SUCCESSFUL PRINT CORE TEMPLATE NOTES: When choosing a filament, consider that this part of the jig will need some minor flex when clamping to the door. So choose a filament that is not too rigid. Also, consider the filament options if you will be storing this in high temperature such as a hot workshop or work truck.
