This is a launch-able 3-D printed rocket. I made this because I wanted to design my own rocket that could actually launch! Print each piece and then epoxy each piece together. In order to launch, glue a shock cord to the inside of the body tube and tie it to the slot in the nose cone and tie the parachute to the nose cone as well. Next, pack some flame-retardant paper into the rocket and insert the parachute into the rocket. I recommend using a A8-3 Estes Engine for the first flight. This rocket can withstand all the way up to a C6-5 Estes engine without losing control. With a A8-3 the rocket will go about 600 feet and with a C6-5 the rocket will get close to 1000 feet high. Once retrieved the rocket can be reused over and over. This rocket is made for a 1/8" launch lug to launch it in a straight line. Feel free to comment and ask any questions in regard to the rocket. Thanks, I hope you enjoy.
