Laundry Sink Drain Protector

Laundry Sink Drain Protector I designed this to fit our laundry tub with the standard wide mouth drain and is 82.5 mm in diameter. It is also designed to print with ZERO Supports. If you have ever used a filter sock, screen or nylon you can appreciate the aggravation caused when the lint catcher gets suck into the drain opening causing a sink back up and possible overflow. This guard will prevent those headaches caused by such an issue. It can be used by itself, or slipped over the end of the existing strainer.Mine had the center post and plate removed for better draining. It should also fit most of the 3D printed sink strainer inserts. So I didn't spend time on designing that part. Boost MeHopefully this will help keep a happy spouse.
