Lawn Sprinkler Mini

This is a mini version of my lawn sprinkler. A helical insert is required to get the water spinning to allow it to be thrown evenly.

Print the housing with the exit hole down with no supports. Print the insert with the coin slot down with no supports.

Install the insert with a little bit of vaseline to ensure a good seal. Install a standard rubber washer and use a landscape fabric staple to hold the sprinkler in place.

I placed containers at 1 foot intervals radiating out from the center to measure how even the water is spread and it is very even over its entire coverage.

I used PLA but it may break down quickly with use although I used my larger sprinkler all summer and it is still in good shape.
