Layered World Map

This map was inspired by a cool concept I saw on pinterest that was laser cut. I tried to create something similar by copying the layering technique but I changed all other parts. The model I saw on pinterest was being sold for £29.99 and I thought “No way I'm buying it for that price, I'll model it and 3d print it myself for a third of the price". Hence, the creation of this model. This model is a perfect decoration, or a gift for a loved one! Hope you enjoy it! (I tried to make this map as geographically accurate as possible as I know many maps MakerWorld miss of countries and islands like New Zealand but I am aware that the top of Canada is a little altered. It was extremely difficult to trace that part in Blender and print. The Arctic and Antarctic are missing for stylistic choices.)
