Lead Shot Adjustable Weight System for Telescopes

This is a fully adjustable weight that fits onto a Losmandy D clamp. Can hold up to 615 grams of lead shot. With the Losmandy clamp model used, this will weight a total of 2.1 pounds. Fully ajustable to your needs unless you need more than 2.1 lbs. You'll need four M5 X 10 brass inserts and four M5 X 12 screws.

The small version which hold 340g of lead shot.

*If you don't fill entirely the container, make sure to put a piece of foam that will get compressed by the lid once closed, so the lead shots won't move when your mount will track or slew.

I've included two new versions that uses either Losmandy D dovetail adapter or a Vixen dovetail adapter. They both have 1/4-20 threads on each side to maximize compatibility with your setup.
