SummaryA relocation plate is an easy way to relocate an axle forward of back relative to the leaf springs. The plate has a raised pin that fits into the center hole of the spring perch on the axle. Then it has one or more holes for the spring center pin head to fit into that are offset some distance from the raised pin. Having two holes at different offsets provides multiple options for relocating the axle and by flipping the plate around you can move the axle forward or back by either hole offset.A common use for these plates is to better center an axle in a wheel well opening to allow for better tire clearance. One application is on the Mazda B2200 2WD pickups using the Belltech lowering springs. These springs leave the axle offset about 3/4" - 1" from stock.
