Its only about 1/8 of an inch thick and even at 30% infill-SUPER light on your ears This piece can be successfully sized slightly up (do not recommend you go down due to hole for jump ring)The jump ring gage (how thick the wire that they make the jump ring from) is 18-20 (i used 20 )-the diameter of the ring is up to you (mine were 6mm). As far as the earring part-you can attach to fishook type, post type or even clip earring findings. These can all be found on amazon or craft
