I remember my Montessori elementary school from 55 years ago: We had wooden square-sticks of different lengths and colors and were supposed to find combinations which result in equal total lengths.
These sticks here are meant to replace those wooden sticks because they're easier to make.
I arranged them to show Gauss' idea of how to easily add up a big amount of numbers by pairing them to equal sums and multiply.
In order to have your child play with real fun, you probably need to print a lot of sticks. And may be you want to rearrange them in order to print sticks of different length in different colors.
You may use the OpenSCAD file for that. Modify line 8 in accordung to where in your filesystem you place fase.scad.
