This is a simple LED camping light. It has a bulit-in lithium battery (Two 18650 cells in parallel) with a battery protection/charger module. The light source is a single 3W LED which needs some sort of cooling to prevent overheating. For cooling I used a salvaged north bridge heat sink from an old PC motherboard. I also used a 1 Ohm resistor in series with the LED as a regulator.
To increase the brightness of the lamp there is plastic mirror in the cap piece, but you can use any reflective material such as foil tape or something similar.
