During a cozy game night while camping, we noticed how hard it was to read the cards as it started getting dark. That gave me the idea to design a card holder that lights up the cards while you hold them.
A simple 2 mm LED strip can be inserted into the lighting rail. For power, I used a basic lithium coin cell. The coin cell holder and a standard push button can easily snap into the designated slots. Assembly is pretty straightforward: just route the LED strip wires through the hole, connect them to the push button and battery holder, and you’re done.
Tip: I printed this with PVA support material, which dissolves in water and leaves a very clean finish. If you don’t have PVA, regular supports will work too, but they’ll need to be removed carefully.
Have fun! :)
