Hello everyone!Today I had in mind the idea of creating a model using several materials in the same piece. More acurately translucid PETG and PLA to be able to retro light and cast some forms. The inspiration comes from this youtube video, where it combines them to create a display: So I ended up creating a ChristmasTree decoration with red PETG translucid balls on a green PLA tree: The three parts of the tree are identical and are able to be self mounted without any glue. I also wanted the electronics to be as simple as possible, so on the base there is a hole to put the positive leg of the led, and the other leg just lies on the negative pole of the battery (a CR2032 3v). The switch on/off its just push the led against the battery:Thanks to bambulab, this kind of multimaterial designs are able to easily come to life!!! Hope you enjoy!!!
