A very basic LED light defuser that may be used for winter solstice (or insert your religion here) lights or just general fun. There are 5 holes for 3mm LED's in the base. The idea is to connect the LED's to a Raspberry PI to create various light patterns and effects.
A video clip of the LED's under control of a Raspberry Pi zero w may be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRdY6kGnK24
Why 5 LED's? Common color's for LED's are red, blue, green, white and yellow. The first three are the primary colors so in theory, one can mix the light to get a spectrum of different colors. So this will hold one of each of the common LED's allowing one to play with different combinations.
The LED holes came out too small on an early iteration of this design despite the geometry of 3.1mm diameter. Depending on the calibration of your 3d printer, your results may vary.
I've used clear/natural PLA, but one could use any number of clear or translucent filaments could be used.
